The Costermonger Bag Sewing Pattern

The Costermonger is the essential market tote designed as a backpack. Fill it up with wholesome goodies, leaving your hands free to tickle your dog. This is a simple satisfying sew that uses little fabric so ideal for using up some of your stash or making as a present. The instructions show you how to make it with leather or webbing. Finished measurements length 45cm, width 40cm. All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

Fabric suggestions - Oilskin, Dry Oilskin, Mid-Heavy weight Cotton Canvas or Drill, Mid weight Denim (8-14oz). ** Our patterns are now printed within Europe, the pattern paper is 70gsm white (FSC® certified) and is made only 180km away from the printers.

Our instructions now come in booklet format rather than A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126certified.
